Barack Obama
Barack Obama says he will spend 150 billion in clean energy. He would do this over the next 10 years and make new fuel economy standards. Obama doesn’t support a gas tax holiday because he says that his experiences with it have caused the people and the state to lose money. He will give each family a $1,000 energy rebate straight from the oil companies. Obama wants to sell 70 million barrels of our reserve oil for cheaper crude oil. He wants to tax the oil companies profit.
Obama was against off shore drilling but now he is for lifting the ban on off shore drilling. Obama supports nuclear power and finding out how to make it safer. He also supports clean coal energy. He would make sure that all new cars can support future technology. He would make $4 billion in loans to manufacturers. This would be to make more fuel efficient cars. Obama would require that 10% of our energy is renewable.
John McCain
John McCain wants to make national energy that relies on americas workforce. He supports suspending the gas tax from Memorial Day to Labor Day. McCain doesn’t want to buy foreign oil during a time of hight prices. He doesn’t want to the tax on the oil companies profit. Taxes
Barack Obama
Senator Obama plans to cut taxes for 95% of workers by $500 or working couples by $1,000.
He will also provide tax cuts for middle to low income senior citizens, owners of houses, the uninsured, and other people that plan to do anything specific with their money. Taxes will be cut for the middle class families. Under Obama's plan, middle class families would get three times as much tax cuts than McCain's plan. Families that make over $250,000 will pay equal or lower tax rates than what they paid during the '90s. Barack plans to reduce revenues to less than 18.2% of GDP by cutting taxes overall.

John McCain
McCain opposed tax cut laws in 2001 and 2003, but later agreed with extending tax cuts through 2010. He plans to keep the present rates on dividends, capital gains, current income, and investment tax rates. He says he would increase child deduction from $3,500 to $7,000.
John says he would decrease the corporate tax rate from 35% to 25%. He strongly believes in increasing the exemption from taxing on houses up to $10 million while cutting the tax rate to 10%. He would forbid new cell phone taxes and Internet taxes.

Healthcare
Barack Obama
Barack Obama thinks of health insurance through business. He proposes to let all workers keep their own health insurance if they have it. He has also proposed to give tax credits to small businesses, which will allow them to have assistance in buying insurance for their employees. He proposes that the government administers a health plan that can be easily affordable for Americans, and requires it mandatory for private businesses to support this plan. He also requires it mandatory for families with children to have insurance for them. Obama will allow Americans to buy medicine from other developed countries as long it medicine is safe and costs less than it does in America. He also repeal than ban that prevents America from negotiating with drug companies. On the issue of health care payment, Obama estimates it will cost between $50 billion and $65 billion, which will be payed off from cutting the Bush tax cuts on families earning more than $250,000.
John McCain
John McCain thinks very differently about health care than Barack Obama does. McCain opposes creating universal helthcare. He also wants to make a tax credits for individuals($2,500 tax credit) and families($5,000 tax credit) so Americans can get an insurance plan from any private insurance company they choose as an alternative to an employee-based plan, which McCain wants to move away from. He proposes to let Americans buy insurance nationwide and across state borders. He also wants to work with governors and set up a plan that would be more affordable. McCain will also allow doctors to work across state lines and will eliminate lawsuits against doctors who follow clinical guidelines.

The Economy
Barack Obama
On the issue of The Economy Barack Obama's campaign supported the 700 billion Wall Street bailout. He also stated that we need new rules for financial institutions and he supports increasing the federal insurance. He proposed a plan that will help families with their mortgages. He has also proposed to keep jobs within the United States by giving $3,000 to businesses for new hiring. He wants to try to create $25 billion worth of jobs. He proposed a plan that would let families withdraw money from their retirement funds without penalty. He wants to extend unemployment insurgents for 13 weeks. I think Obama's Ideas are good and will help our government get out of this hole.
John McCain
On the issue of The Economy John McCain supports the Wall Street Bail out. He supports increasing the federal insurance and wants to create high-level commission to strengthen federal agencies. He wants to create an agency that helps companies avoid bankruptcy. He proposed a plan that would direct governments to buy bad mortgage loans from banks and homeowners. There would be specific qualifications the plan. McCain has proposed suspending the requirement that investors begin dissolving their IRAs and 401(k)s. John McCain has a good veiw on some of these pionts but I feel that some of what he is informing isn't going to help our Economy get any better.
